O thús baire, ba mhaith liom buíochas a ghábhail le gach duine a thug cathair dom san eachtra seo – mo chlann, mo cháirdre a rinne eacht oibre, na daoine a chuaigh amach le vota a chaiteamh dom.

In the first instance, I would like to sincerely thank all those who helped me in this endeavour; my family, my friends who did phenomenal work during the campaign and all the people who went out to cast their votes.

As with any competition, the outcome includes those who missed out on their goal. Their hard work will not go unnoticed by our communities and I wish them evey success in their future efforts. On a personal note, I need to express my appreciation for the great efforts of David Flanagan and his team of friends in Kilcock. We will continue in our work together.

For updates, there is usually good coverage on RTE and in the Irish Times.

I Support

  • Independent community representation for everyone
  • Tackling vandalism and anti-social behaviour
  • Proper local, regional and national planning
  • Stronger waste management and litter prevention policies
  • Urgent action on roads and transport infrastructure
  • The abolition of junkets and extravagant spending

I Oppose

  • Local Authority over-dependence on building levies
  • Excessive or unnecessary residential rezoning
  • A political system which has made houses unaffordable
  • 1 & 2 bed apartment development in rural areas
  • Development on public green spaces
  • Locating social housing far from community services
